September 13, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Venue: Online
ADL will be hosting its third Competency and Credentialing Community of Practice webinar on Tuesday, 13 September from 14:00-15:00 EDT. This webinar series offers high-level information about ADL projects and concepts related to competencies and credentialing, and it provides an opportunity for the wider community to get involved. Our last webinar focused on the Mil-Cred project. This upcoming webinar will provide details about ADL’s Open Social Learner Modeling (OSLM) project.
About OSLM
The Open Social Learner Model (OSLM) project leverages the power of open social learning modeling and adaptive navigation support in the context of the envisioned Personal Assistant for Learning system. OSLM is designed to increase motivation and performance in students that use the system by providing them with access to the Mastery Grids user interface. This interface includes visualizations that display progress of a student’s knowledge by topic and compare personal progress with the progress of the class. It also offers direct access to the learning content.
