Learning Engineering

Originally established as a 24-month activity, the Industry Connections (IC) Industry Consortium on Learning Engineering (ICICLE) Working Group met from December 2017 to December 2019. The Working Group recently rebooted with plans to continue meeting into 2021. It is part of the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) IC program focused on the emerging field of Learning Engineering. ICICLE participants include high profile organizations in industry, academia, and government. The Working Group’s contributions are derived from large group efforts as well as various Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These efforts include the production and hosting of an international conference on learning engineering, with published proceedings, white papers on learning engineering, and hosting of code repositories for applied research in learning engineering.
